I have a shoe size that always sell out early in the season, and I am also a wide width so I have an even more limited selection of shoes that will work for the occasion. Fortuanatly I was able to find a shoe with better quality and a comparible price and I did this on Friday May 7th and recieved my shoes the following wednesday, in suffucient time to look for something else if I needed to in case the shoes didnt work. My feet are a size 7ish, but my calves (or bulls as they are known around my house) are 17 1/2 around. Even when I was thin, the bulls were full grown. This site had boots that fit my feet AND MY BULLS! Every winter I go on the boot search and this year I turned to the internet. I had ordered Plus size shaft boots from another site and returned them. I found some that should fit on yet another site and of course I could have had them custom made at yet another...but I didnt want to spend $450-$550! shoelady came through for me with flying colors! "I just received my David Tate Daytona Brown Boots with an extra wide calf. I was thrilled with them! First of all, you shipped this by the next day after I ordered it, and I was so happy and impressed with your speedy service! I tried the boots on and wanted to cry when I successfully passed my calf with them (this boot accomodated an 18 1/2 inch calf). I have never had a boot do that before and I walked around with them for about an hour, I just didn't want to take it off. It sounded crazy to my daughter, but this was a dream come true for me. They are beautiful boots and they made me feel beautiful. I am not very tall (only 4' 10"),and unfortunately I inherited my dad's huge calves. My fiancée and I have searched high and low here in Australia for a pair of boots to fit her large calves, a side effect of years of dancing and playing netball.
