Due to popular demand by our customers, we worked with Ros Hommerson to custom make this HOT and SEXY extra wide calf over-the-knee dress boot. This
Super Wide Calf™ boot, created exclusively for WideWidths.com, has a 3" heel and a 17 1/2" - 19 1/2" shaft height (gradual increase from size 6 to size 12). The convertible 4" cuff can be worn up or folded over for added versatility.
Super Wide Calf™ circumference with a calf range of 18 1/2" (for a size 6)
to 21 1/2" (for a size 12) as shown above. These extra wide calf over-the-knee Shirley boots have a substantial elastic gore that runs down the rear of the boot and it stretches for added comfort and an easy fit. The button at the top of the shaft can be tightened if needed. In addition, they have a soft tricot lining, padded insole, inside zipper for easy on/off and a non-skid rubber sole. All of our boots can be altered further by a shoemaker if needed.
The Shirley boot has a slightly more tapered shaft than our other wide calf boots and it is more fitted from the ankle through the top of the shaft. The generous elastic goring provides more room in this area but if your calf is wide beginning at the ankle throughout the length of your leg, then the lower portion may not fit you and you might want to consider purchasing another style that has a larger lower shaft and a shape more like your own calf. Since there is an elastic gore going up the back of the shaft, there will be more leeway than in the similar knee high versions
Maine or
Maryland.
