We ship to Canada via UPS but you may request USPS (U.S. Postal Service Global Express Mail) in the comments section of your order by agreeing to the USPS rate . For specific information on shipments to Canada and additional Canadian fees as well as USPS pricing please see 2nd chart below. For information on international foot size conversions please see this link: International Size Chart. For information to convert from centimeters to inches please see this link: Metric Conversions. We currently ship internationally via US Global Express Mail to these countries: COUNTRY / COST of SHIPPING and HANDLING (for one pair)
If we do not have your country listed, we will be happy to add other countries, if possible, to our list and would love to hear from you – please contact us. What, if any, are the additional taxes or duties that I may need to pay? Canada Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer’s behalf. Your order will be shipped under UPS’s e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD$ 200 shipped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD$ 10, plus any applicable duties and taxes. Shipments valued at CAD$200 and above and/or being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur additional fees. Please see chart below for information on values above CAD$200. Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.
When entering your shipping information, please include your apartment number if you have one. If you are having your boots shipped to a business address, please be certain to include your company name, room/floor number, or any other pertinent information regarding your address. UPS requires this information to make a delivery and if any address corrections or delivery address changes are needed, the additional $14 UPS address change/correction fee that we are charged for will be automatically billed to you. Choosing USPS Shipping to Canada We will be happy to ship your package via USPS Global Express Mail if you request this in the comments section of your order. The cost for USPS is $57 for one pair of boots (each additional pair is $57). Multiple pairs must be shipped in separate cartons when we use USPS because their fees are based on dimensional weight and it is actually less expensive to ship 3 pairs separately than in one carton. Our shipping method defaults to UPS Standard shipping at $29 but we will adjust the cost accordingly when the order is processed. If you prefer this method, please verify that you are approving the additional charge in your request or it will delay processing since we will need to get in touch with you first. As we have heard from many of our Canadian customers, the advantage to using USPS is that you may not be asked to pay any of the duties if the carton is delivered via the post office and you will definitely not have to pay any UPS brokerage fees. You will receive an email with tracking information when your order is processed so that you can be aware of your pending delivery. IMPORTANT: If for some reason you did not receive an email with tracking information from us within one or two business days, please contact us immediately since you will need to keep track of your package either by visiting the UPS or US Postal Service (USPS) websites so that your boots are not returned back to the U.S. Once your order has been shipped, we have no control over the packages and if you have not heard anything within a maximum of 7 -10 days from your local UPS or your local post office regarding your shipment please contact them to see if they are holding a package for you by giving them your tracking number. Should you miss a delivery for failure to track your shipment or refuse it for any reason once your boots arrive in your country (because of duties, taxes, brokerage fees, etc.), we cannot be responsible for any of the shipping costs and they will not be refunded. You will be charged for the return shipping and a $10 re-stocking fee if they are returned to us. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR ALL OTHER COUNTRIES We ship via US Parcel Service Global Express Mail and you can check with your local post office or customs office regarding the taxes and duties you may need to pay to import boots into your country since we do not have information on these rates for other countries. The rates are based upon the country of origin (usually China) and the materials used to manufacture the boots (leather or man-made). Each foreign country has its own rules as well as rates and they are accessible at your local post office, at customs or on the internet. You are responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Since we use the US Postal Service (USPS Global Express Mail) to ship internationally, we can ship to post office boxes in any of the countries listed above. You will receive an email with tracking information when your order is processed so that you can be aware of your pending delivery. IMPORTANT: If for some reason you did not receive an email with tracking information from us within one or two business days, please contact us immediately since you will need to keep track of your package either by visiting the UPS or US Postal Service (USPS) websites so that your boots are not returned to the U.S. Once your order has been shipped, we have no control over the packages and if you have not heard anything within a maximum of 7 -10 days from your local post office regarding your shipment please contact them to see if they are holding a package for you by giving them your tracking number. Should you miss a delivery for failure to track your shipment or refuse it for any reason once your boots arrive in your country (because of duties, taxes, brokerage fees, etc.), we cannot be responsible for the shipping costs and they will not be refunded. You will be charged for the return shipping and a $10 re-stocking fee if they are returned to us. Multiple Pair Orders USPS has converted their shipping rates to dimensional based rates rather than by weight alone and as a result, any multiple pair orders will be shipped in separate cartons since the rates will be lower that way than if they are shipped together. For example: if two pairs of boots weigh 7 lbs., their dimensions would put them into a 30 lb. category thereby raising their shipping cost four-fold if they ship together in one carton. U.S. Shoe Sizes for Foreign/International Orders Our best recommendation is that customers from Europe, Australia or New Zealand should use their UK or European shoe size equivalent to base the conversions on since that size is listed inside many of your shoes for comparison. This is a much more accurate basis for comparison rather than using a centimeter measurement for shoe sizes or widths. We are not responsible for size conversions and customers (especially in Australia and New Zealand) may also want to research these conversions or look them up on their own on Google since the size conversions for Australia are sometimes different than ours on different websites. How do I convert my metric calf measurements to US sizes in inches? Since we cannot make a chart that includes every metric conversion size from centimeters into inches, please go to this link and insert your calf size for the correct metric conversion to US inches: Metric Conversions. You can also use Google to find any other site that you choose for yourself. Once you know the metric equivalent in US inches, you can choose a boot that you like, look up your shoe size and find your corresponding calf size. You cannot order a specific calf size for any boot since each boot is already manufactured with the calf size shown online. What are the international exchange rates to US currency? We do not give any exchange rate information but please be aware that these rates change all the time. Your purchase will be based on the rate at the time the order is placed and that is done automatically by your bank on your credit card. You can access this information from the local bank in your country as well as on Google. How long do I have to return or exchange my boots if they do not fit? It is important to return or exchange your boots as soon as possible to conform to our return policies. We require that your boots be returned for credit or exchange within 30 days of the date of your order so please be certain to use "Priority Mail" for any returns to the U.S. Please see our return policy for more information. We are sorry, but we do not refund shipping charges. Please be sure to measure your calf before placing your order. Since we have a very extensive selection of wide and extra wide calf boots to choose from, measuring your calf will reduce the possibility of your having to return your purchase. Please measure the circumference of your calf about 14 - 15" up from the floor (or at it's widest part) since that is the height of most of the shafts of the boots. If there is a portion of your calf that is wider than that measurement, then please order using the larger of the 2 measurements. Foot Widths Our boots come in foot widths ranging from mediums (M) to extra wides (WW). The letters next to the shoe size refer to the width of the foot NOT the calf: M = Medium (regular) width foot W = Wide width foot WW = Extra wide width foot Please remember that the width of the foot (the M for medium, W for wide or WW for extra wide) next to each foot size has no bearing on the calf size. For our petite customers - 5'3" (160cm) or under: We recommend that you choose a calf size differently than a taller person since boots are not made in petite sizes and they simply do not fit the same way on someone that is 5 1/2 - 6 feet tall as on someone that is shorter. It is the same concept as the fit on ladies clothes that are not made in petite sizes. Please measure the circumference of your calf at its widest point instead of at the top of the shaft (at 14" - 15") and order a style that is at least one inch larger than your measurement because if you are petite, your calf begins to get wider at a lower point in the boot than on someone who is taller. This recommendation is based on our retail store observations from 1988 - 2006 and feedback from tens of thousands of customers since we began to sell wide calf boots onlne in 2001. This is accurate 95% of the time. Once you know your calf measurement, you can look at the styles that you like and each foot size has a corresponding calf size. This makes it very simple to be certain that you are getting the correct calf size. | | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
